Q: Which browser is recommended for accessing Blackboard content?
A: We highly recommend the use of Google Chrome. It works best for regular content as well as class recordings.

Q: How do I log in to the WMU Cooley Blackboard Learn site?
A: Log in to the Cooley Portal. Under My World you will find the "Blackboard Learn Sign On" link.

Q: I am logged in to the WMU Cooley Portal, but I can't log in to Blackboard. What do I do?
A: The Portal may have timed you out. Log out and log back in. - If you changed your password after logging in, log out and log back in with the new password. - Verify that cookies are allowed in your browser. With Google Chrome the default settings will work. We recommend using Google Chrome.

Q: Where are my class recordings located?
A: For JD courses, all recordings are made using Panopto. (See Panopto link above.) You will find a link to Panopto recordings in the left menu of your Blackboard Course pages, or the recordings will show up on the home page of your Blackboard course. - For LLM courses, the recordings are made with Blackboard Collaborate. (See Collaborate Ultra link above.) The list of recordings shows up under the Classroom link: Click on LLM Program Ultra in the left menu. Then click on LL.M Ultra Classroom. You will see the list of available recordings at the bottom of that page. 

Q: Why is the Blackboard page asking me to log in?
A: The Portal may have timed you out. Q: Why does my Blackboard course page show up as not currently available?
A: Your professor may still be working on content for the next term. The professor can decide when the page becomes available to you. All courses become available automatically during the last week of term break, before the term starts.
